I’ve been working on my Silver Prophet project today and have been making really good progress on it. Today I started implementing doors on the map with different states such as locked, unlocked and blocked as well as open or closed. The player can open unlocked doors. If the player’s party has a rogue they can attempt to pick locks that do not require a key.
Looking at starting the next Eyes of the Dragon, XNA RPG series, tutorial this evening. In this tutorial I will wrap up having conversations with non-player characters in the game. I will be adding these features into A Summoner’s Tale, MonoGame series, in the next few tutorials as well.
